Purple Pumpkin Giveaway!!!

Just wanted to let you know that you have a few more hours to join in the Purple Pumpkin giveaway before their sale starts tomorrow so head on over there for your chance to win!!

I love surprises!!!

It's summertime at Elisabeth Bell's World!!

It's the 25th of the month which means time for a new challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge blog. This month we would love to see a summertime scene with lots of ribbon and lace!!!
We are kindly be sponsored by Whimsy stamps so I used Apple Blossom for my card!! Now I had an idea of what I wanted to create but when I finished it I looked again at the theme and questioned whether my card reflects summertime!! I'll leave that up to you???
That aside I love how this card turned out!! Better than I envisioned. I didn't follow a sketch this time (which is rare for me these days!!!). I used papers from my scrap stash, some flowers, ribbon, lace and rhinestones and finished the card off with theses cute apple buttons that I have had for so long.. And as always I coloured Apple Blossom in with Tria markers!! You've seen my card so why not go and get some more inspiration from the rest of the DT over on the EBW challenge blog.

Seems a Little Sketchy challenge #18

OMG where did the last fortnight go?.... I am finally on the mend but so far behind with everything!! Will have to spend this week trying to get caught up and in front again!!!
So it's time for a new sketch at SALS and this is what we got to create with

and this is what I came up with:

I used Kai and Barefoot Amy from Crafty Sentiments who is one of our sponsors for this challenge. We are also sponsored by Robyn's Fetish.
I decided to go with a black and white theme with one other colour for my card!! I coloured the girls in with Tria markers. The papers are all from my scrap stash and to finish off the card I added some butterflies which i decided to recycle from another card as well as the black rhinestones. The bench seat is from Magnolia and the sentiment is from Stampin Up. It does say Thinking of you but I stamped it to far across under the butterfly!! Oops!
Hope you can join us at Seems a Little Sketchy with this fortnights sketch! I look forward to seeing your take on it!!

I won't keep you in suspense any longer (well not at all seeing as I'm near the end of the hop... tehehehe). I'd like to introduce to you Elisabeth Bell's latest addition to her digital collection

** SUMMER DAZE **
I absolutely love this image and yes I know I say that every month but its always true!! LOL
So here is what I did with this way too cute image -
I am so happy with the way this card turned out!! As you can see I flipped the image so that I could line it up with my paper I had!! I had an idea in my head when I was making this card but didn't quite go to plan but I still think I like the way it turned out. I kept it pretty simple so the image could shine so I used paper from prima (I think), then just added a few embellishments - buttons, droplets, twine and flourish!! And the sentiment is from a Popcorn bear set that i have not used for a very long time!!

So there you have my creation, now it's time to cast yourselves onto the next stop which will be Pami where she will reel you in with her gorgeous creation!!

Before I go, I would just like to remind you that there are a few days left to try out for the next GDT term!! there are only a few entries so far so the chances are pretty high of joining our fabulous team for a few months, so why not go and buy this stamp now from Elisabeth Bell's digital Collection and show us what you can create!!

Pearls and Swirls at Paper Crafting Journey!!

Just a quick post as my head is pounding!! Time for a new challenge at PCJ and this time around we are sponsored by Saturated Canary!! How excited was I when I heard?? I just love Krista's images!!
I chose to use Queenie and Princess for my card and love the result!!
I coloured Queenie and Princess in with Tria markers ( I thought I had coloured this a lot better than it looks in this pic). I used a past Mojo Monday sketch to create my card, using Kaisercraft scraps because it had swirls on it, which I tried to highlight with kindyglitz but not sure how successful I was!! I then added ribbon under the image and a scalloped edge which was inked with green ink. To finish off the card I dded the flowers with some pearls and the butterfly charm!!
Well that's it from me, have more DT cards to catch up.. I'm really behind!!
Enjoy the rest of the DT creations!! And if you're quick, there is still time to join in on our DT call!! Check out all the details here!!

CYP Kids July Challenge!!

I am so SORRY, it's totally my fault Logan's post is up late for the new Craft You Passion Kids challenge!!! For the past week I have been suffering from severe headaches, body aches and pains,  I've been lethargic, sleeping a lot and to even do the simplest tasks has been difficult!! So I have been spending a lot of time just lying on the couch!! I feel so bad for my boys co I haven't been able to do anything with them but they have been really good, just doing what they have to do!! Thankfully! I love them so much and they make me so proud!!
Anyway, enough about me this post is about Logan's card. The challenge this month is Cute Animals and the kids are sponsored by The Paper Shelter. Logan chose to use the already coloured Super Pepe L'Souris.

All I did was cut out the image and the card base and Logan put the rest together!! I think he did a pretty awesome job!!! He was super happy with it!!!
Now that you've seen Logan's card, why not hop on over to the CYPK blog and see what the rest of the kids have created!!! And perhaps your kids could join in too!!

SALS Sketch #17

This is another scheduled post just in case I'm not back from the beach!! Bit cold for the beach I know but it's just nice to get away!!
I have two cards to share today following this fabulous sketch!!

For this challenge we are being sponsored by Ai Factory
For my First card I used Ella ballerina. I had fun creating this card as I had my niece in mind while making it!! She loves ballet and is always practicing her dance moves!!

I coloured Ella Ballerina in with Tria Markers. The paisley paper is from My Minds Eye that I recently won... I've had these brads forever and finally they were perfect for this creation. I made the flower up the top right corner from the MFT die-namics Prima Donna Petals and added some flourishes, the butterfly and the tag also from MFT. I distressed around the edges of the paper and added rhinestones to finish it off.

For my second card I used Cowboy!! I just loved this guy and thought it was perfect to make a card for my nephew who turns 4 in a few weeks!!
I chose the paper first which I think is from kaisercraft, then coloured in Cowboy using Tria markers!! I also coloured in the WANTED sign with Tria markers. I then went ahead and put my card together following the sketch, adding stars, buttons and a couple of the accesories that came with the cowboy!! And to finish off the card I painted the number four with a adirondack paint dabber!!
Oh and of course I added the photo of my nephew!!
I jut love the way this turned out!!
Well you've seen my creation, now head on over to the Seems a Little Sketchy blog to see what the rest of the sketchy gals have created!!

PCJ Challenge #13 - Summer

Hopefully this has posted as scheduled as I am away for a few days with my boys and some friends!!
Time for a new challenge at PCJ and this time we want to see your summer cards!!! It can be a summer scene, summer colours or however you interpret summer!!  I have actually enjoyed making summer cards the past couple of weeks, kind of makes me forget how cold it is here!!!
We are being sponsored by Fresh Brewed Designs and we were lucky enough to play with some images!!
I chose to colour up Daniel Summertime and created a little beach scene!!

I coloured Daniel in with Tria markers, used some Kaszazz paper from my scraps stash, recycled the palm tree from another scrapbook page and the clouds were die cut using my friend Angela's Big shot cos I don't have a die cutting machine of any sort!! Think I need to get one though!! To finish off the card I just added some shells and rocks and a button!! pretty simple but I like it!!
Like to join in the fun? Then head on over to the Paper Crafting Journey blog and check out the details and of course see what the other talented DT have created!!!

You Make Me Smile!! Digi Bell's Post

Apple Pies make me smile..LOL!!! It's my turn to post over at the Digi Bell's and I just  had to colour up this gorgeous Elisabeth Bell Digi again - the latest addition to EB's digital collection!! She is my favourite at the moment!!!
Sorry about the photo though... Went and saw Annie today and got home later than I thought I would so it was dark by the time I got home...
I decided to go with a pink and Brown theme cos I had all intentions of using different papers.. Then when  I was looking through my stash I found this pink paper that matched the colour better I had used on the image!! I followed the Sketch Saturday Sketch for my card. I coloured Apple Bake in with Tria markers and added some rhinestones to her apron!!! I also distressed around the edge of the image and sentiment with Walnut Stain distress ink!!  I used some twine, pearls and flowers to pull the card together!!!
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
* Sketch Saturday - Sketch
* Chocolate, Coffee and Cards - Anything Goes
* Totally Papercrafts - Can You Digi It?
* Elphine House - Distressing or Paper Tearing
