Sweet Sundae!!!

Hello, here I am back with my second post!! It's my turn to post on the Digi Bell's Blog today and made a card using Sweet Sundae from Elisabeth Bell's digital collection.

I coloured Sweet Sundae in with Tria markers and based the colours on the paper that I have used as a background (which I think is from the Paper Shelter) I inked around the image with Peacock Feathers distress ink, then just added a few embellishments (flowers and rhinestones and ribbon) cos I didn't want to cover the background paper too much!!
Please be sure to visit tomorrow here and the Digi Bell's Blog as we are having a blog hop with Elisabeth Bell's newest addition to her digital collection and you are going to just love her!!! So mark it in your diary!!  See you tomorrow!!

An emotional day and a card for PCJ mid challenge reminder!!

Hello to all my wonderful followers!!! Sorry for the small amount of posts over the past 5 weeks!! Summer holidays have just finished here in OZ for most of us and we actually spent most of it away!!! Which was fantastic and we finished off the holidays yesterday going to see the stage show Chitty Chitty Bang Bang which was awesome!!! So with the holidays being over it meant my baby started school today!!! Although I did not cry (I did have to fight back the tears) I hated leaving Logan today!! I even asked him if he could stay at home with me but he said he couldn't he had to go to school!! So as I slowly walked out the door and headed home he was busy chatting with the teacher about his picture he had just drawn!! I think the hardest thing for me with him starting school is that I now have to look for a job and that I am not looking forward to as I have not worked in 8 years!! I know I will enjoy it once I get a job but I just want to be there at pick up for my kids!!
 Logan's first day of Prep!!

Liam's first day of grade 2 and Logan's first day of school!!

Now because I have been so busy with the kids over the school holidays and my camera decided to retire (so unfortunatley I had to buy a new one :) ) I missed the start of Paper Crafting Journey's  For a Girl Challenge which is sponsored by Kenny K Downloads. So I thought I'd do a mid way challenge post to remind you all that the challenge is still going!!

I used Download Diva from kenny k downloads and coloured her in with tria markers!!The stripy paper is from my stash, I then die cut two spellbinder peony's, added a banner and wrote Girls Rock on it. Added some plastic ribbon(not sure of the real name) and finished the card off with the flowers and buttons!! Oh and the Happy Birthday rubon which is a bit lost on the card!!
So if you have visted and would like to join in the challenge head on over to the Paper Crafting Journey blog for more details and see what the rest of the team have been up to.
I'll be back later on with another post so I hope you'll come back soon!!

Colour Combo at CYP with Mayzy Art!

Hello and welcome to challenge 147 at Craft Your Passion.  We are being sponsored by Mayzy Art this week and she is given the lucky winner 5 digi images!! Fabulous prize! We have a colour combo this week which I actually enjoyed using!!

I used Ringmaster from Mayzy Art and coloured her in with tria markers!! I added some glitter pen to all the green stars and to the top of her boots!! I decided to use the colour combo picture as a sketch using all the colours, then I just added the stars and rhinestones and the purple ribbon!! I inked around the edge of the scalloped square with icked raspberry distress ink!! I may end up adding a sentiment but thought I'd wait till I use it!!!
Please head on over to the Craft your Passion blog and checkout what the rest of the DT have created with Mayzy Arts images!!

Vintage Valentine at Elisabeth Bell's World!

Hello and welcome to our Jan/Feb Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge. This month we would love to see your Vintage Valentine cards using any Elisabeth Bell image from any company. We are being sponsored by Sweet Pea Stamps and the prize is a fabulous $20 gift card!!
I  haven't got any Sweet Pea stamps by Elisabeth so I used On Cupid's Cloud which you can get from Elisabeth Bell's digital collection.

Hopefully this is vintage... a theme which is a bit out of my comfort zone!! I decided to keep the card simple and leave the image untouched with a splash of colour!! All the papers were from my scrap stash (so not sure where the patterned paper is from!!) I distressed around the edges of all the papers with blank ink to give it the vintage feel!! I then just added the ribbon and key and the heart brad and rhinestones to finish it off!!
I hope that you will join us at EBW for this months challenge using your favourite Elisabeth Bell images!!!
Don't forget there is a GDT call over on the Digi Bell's Blog and in BREAKING NEWS, we now have a facebook page set up where you can all share your Elisabeth Bell creations from all the stamp companies she designs for.. You can check it out HERE. WE look forward to seeing your creations both on the blog and on the facebook page!!

SALS and CYP!!

Due to me being away I decided to combine my card again for both the Craft your Passion and Seems a Little Sketchy challenges. Our challenge this week at CYP is Totally Teal and we are being sponsored by Saturated Canary. And at SALS we are sponsored by Eureka Stamps.
I chose Butterfly Princess from Saturated Canary and the sentiment stamp from Eureka Stamps. I coloured Butterfly Princess in with tria markers and inked around the edges of the image as well as the sentiment which I cut out with a Tim Holtz die. I used the SALS sketch but as always added bits and changed things slightly!! I inked the doily to blend in with the SB paper from Fab Scraps! Then I added the die cut flowers and the rhinestones to finish the card. I'm not overly happy with my colouring as I was away when I coloured the image and the lighting was terrible! But on the whole I think it is a beautiful card!!
Be sure to stop by the SALS and CYP blogs to check out what the rest of the DT have created !!

Pati's kisses!!

Wow, hello, it has been nearly a month since I posted! It is summer holidays here in Australia so we have been away here and there for most of that time!! in fact I am still away as  type but I'm at my mum's so have internet access. Yay!! So I'm way behind in the blogging world so I'm looking forward to catching up with all my teamies and all of you to see what you have been up to!! I have managed to get a couple of cards made for upcoming DT committments and that is why i'm here today!
It's my turn to post on the Dig Bell's Blog!! I have used Pati's Kissses which you can get from Elisabeth Bell's digital collection .I think she is just adorable, don't you?
I decided to use some colours I have never used together before and I just love the way it turned out.
I coloured her in with Tria markers. I used an embossed core'dinations paper (which I am addicted to at the moment). I used lots of my dies (not sure of the companies or names as I'm not at home) but the flowers and butterflies and the scalloped circle are all dies. I then added the ribbon and the rhinestones to finish it off.
Well I will back home in a couple of days so will get back into the swing of things. Don't forgot to stop by the Digi Bell's blog for your chance to become a Guest Digi Bell and on the 1st feb we'll have a new Elisabeth Bell image to share with you.
