Flower Power at Paper Crafting Journey!

School is out for the holidays as of tomorrow and we are away to Tassie on Monday so this will be one of my last posts before I go (although I will be pre-scheduling the one's that are due while I'm away)
So it is time for a new challenge at Paper Crafting Journey and this weeks theme is Flower Power. We are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments and we got to play with some of their cute images (although I think I used the wrong one - sorry) I have still followed the theme though and used a Crafty Sentiments image!
I know I have made a lot of CAS cards lately but I have been trying to get ahead for while I'm away. I coloured  Friendship in with tria markers. and cut her out. I then mounted her on the white card stock and used another rub on sentiment. I then just die cut some flowers from the purple cardstock and put white cardstock behind it and added the rhinestones! I hope that you can join us this fortnight at Paper Crafting Journey
I would like to enter this into the following challenge:
* Crafty Sentiments - Summer or Summer Colours

Summer at EBW!

Can you believe it's 6 months till Christmas.. where has the last half of the year disappeared! Where has the last month disappeared! Here we are again for a new challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World and this month we would like to see your Summer Creations using an Elisabeth Bell image from any of the wonderful companies she designs for.
I have used an image from Elphine House Australia - Tommy Tell Tail of Ice Cream

I stamped the image onto my card stock then stamped it again to make a mask, then I used to distress ink to create the background scene!. I coloured the image in with tria markers, added the sentiment which is a rub on and added the felt clouds!
Sorry for the short post but I really need to get to bed... I hope that you can join us this month at Elisabeth Bell's World.
I would like to enter this into the following challenge:

3 or More Embellishments at Craft Your Passion!

Time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and this week we want to see 3 or More Embellishments on your creation! We are sponsored by

I used Spring Enchantment from TPS and used the paper from the Adorable Miss Hall also from TPS. I cut around the paper so that it looks like ribbons attached and added a bit of kindyglitz to some of them. I coloured the image in with tria markers and mounted her on foam dots. I used a rub on sentiment, then added the buttons, rhinestones and the kindyglitz. To finish off the card I went around the paper using glitter pens to make a border!
I hope that you will join us this week at Craft Your Passion.
I would like to enter this into the following challenge:

* Polka Doodles - Somewhere over the Rainbow

Sketch 67 at SALS!

Wow, the past couple of weeks have just flown by haven't they... Or is that just me? Since I started work the week seems to disappear...
So it is time for a new challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy and this fortnight we are sponsored by

We didn't have specific images to use this week so I decided to make a card with the Scrapbook Boutique's challenge in mind.
Here is this weeks sketch:

For the first time in a very long I did not stamp a single thing. I used a butterfly punch and added some kindyglitz to the dots. I then just cut out some squares and which I  punched butterflies out of and die cut the peony circle! Then I just added the buttons and pearls!. A nice simple card!
I hope that you will join us this fortnight at SALS!

Little Friends!

It is my turn to post over on The Digi Bell's blog and today I have created a card using Elisabeth Bell's Little Friends from Elisabeth Bell's digital collection.

I went with a black and white theme because I found a paper that I really wanted to use and thought that Little Friends would look beautiful on it, but I changed my mind and used the opposite side of the paper.:) The striped paper is a fancy pants design paper, then I used some black and white scraps which I used a punch on then punched out flowers. I added some ribbon and some buttons and added diecut flowers and pearls! I finished it off by adding the black rhinestones!
Thanks for stopping by.

Punches and Diecuts at Southern Girls Challenge!

It's time for a new challenge at Southern Girls challenge and this challenge we would like to see you using your punches and diecuts. We are sponsored by
.

The Paper Shelter :: Digital stamps, Papers, Printables, Scrapbooking, Greeting cards, Accesories and More!

I used The Best Nap Ever! from The Paper Shelter. This was a freebie last Christmas and it's the first time I've created with it. I think it is so adorable. I used the pre-coloured image because I didn't think I would be able to colour it as good as it already is. I used the paper that came with the image and mounted it on white card stock which I used the border punch then mounted that on the purple cardstock which I used the same punch on! I then added the sentiment which was a freebie from TLC and then used the Marianne Designs corner die and tied some ribbon through it!
I hope that you will join us for this challenge at Southern Girls Challenge!

Anything Goes at Paper Crafting Journey!

Wow, it seems like ages ago since we had a challenge at Paper Crafting Journey but no it has only been two weeks. So as you can read this fortnights challenge is Anything Goes and we are sponsored by

I used Thumbs up kid from Kenny K. I chose the papers first then used those colours for the image! I coloured the image in with tria markers. All the papers are from my scrap stash and this is how I found them, I did cut them or alter them in size at all except the chevron which I just cut in half and shortened to fit the card.
Not sure where the sentiment is from, it is part of a set of sentiments that I won a few years ago (so I apologise)
I am sure we will get plenty of entries for this challenge so I look forward to stopping by some of your blogs to see what you have created!
Stop by the Paper Crafting Journey blog for more inspiration!!

Father's Day/For the Boys!

Wow, can't believe I haven't posted anything on here for a week! I started a new job this week and after being a Stay at Home mum for the past 9 years I am finding myself rather tired of an evening! So I am not getting anything extra made! I'm hoping after the school holidays I will have been used to the hours and can get back to crafting more often!.
So it is time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and this weeks challenge is Father's Day / For the Boys. This week we are sponsored by Just Some Lines.

I used Papa and Son Bear Fishing! I coloured it in with tria markers. Unfortunately the boat didn't turn out how I had seen it in my head. I found the embossed blue card stock in my paper stash, mounted the image onto some red paper, then just added the buttons and fish!
Not sure if I will use this for Fathers yet as my Dad is definitely not a fisherman so it may end up being for a boys birthday card!.
I look forward to seeing your creations for our challenge this week at Craft Your Passion.

Sketch 66 at SALS

Time for a new sketch at Seems a Little Sketchy and this fortnight we are sponsored by

here is our sketch

and here is my take on the sketch

As you can see I rotated the image. It looks a little plain with no patterned papers but I couldn't find a paper that I wanted to put with the image! So this image is Farrah Flamingo from Scribbles and I flipped it so that I could have two looking at each other. I coloured them in with tria markers, I added some blue to make one more of a  male. i then just added the elements and buttons!!
I hope that you will join us this fortnight at Seems a Little Sketchy!

Rip it/ Tear it at Craft Your Passion!

Time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and this week our them is Rip it/Tear it so we want to see some torn or ripped element on your creation. We are sponsored by
Delicious Doodles
I designed this card and forgot about the theme so I apologise for the tardiness of the card! I still think it looks ok but it could have been a lot better! I coloured this Delicious Doodles image in with tria markers. I mounted it on orange card stock which I ripped then mounted that on white card stock then framed it with buttons. Then I added the ripped orange strips!
I hope that you can join us this week at Craft Your Passion.

Little Rapunzel!

It's my turn to post on The Digi Bell's blog today, so I have used Little Rapunzel.

I always love colouring Little Rapunzel up. I found this paper pad in my paper stash and decided it was time to use it. These aren't colours I usually use so found it a bit of a challenge but I think it turned out ok!
If you haven't joined in with the Elisabeth Bell's World challenge this month, there is still plenty of time...
You can find this digi and many more at Elisabeth Bell's digi collection
