Nature at Southern Girls Challenge!

A new challenge has started over at The Southern Girls challenge blog and this fortnight we would like to see "Nature" incorporated into your creation. We have two sponsors this fortnight and they are:

CRAFTS AND ME ONLINE STORE

Polkadoodles

I was lucky enough to use a Polkadoodles image - Octavia Moonfly Dragonfly
I coloured the image in with tria markers die cut it out and layered it on a diecut oval cardstock. I found this gorgeous design paper in my paper stash (which I cleaned out the other day and found some stuff I had forgotten about.)
I then just added the buttons and ribbon and the dragonfly which is from Polkadoodles Bon Bon set released a few years ago when I was on their DT....
Thanks for stopping by. I hope that you can join us this fortnight at Southern Girls Challenge.

Always Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion!

It is time for a new challenge over at Craft Your Passion and as always the theme is anything Goes. This week we are sponsored by
Fabrika Fantasy

Because my head is a bit frazzled still as I continue to try and get used to working 5 days a week after 20 years, this card was put together pretty quickly. The Pirate Parrot image is pre-coloured which made life totally easy, I had the skull paper in my paper stash, added the  treasure chest and sentiment and found the skull button in my button jar. '
I hope that you will join us this week at Craft Your Passion.

Happy Mail Peeker!

It is my turn to post over on The Digi Bell's blog so I decided to create something with  Happy Mail Peeker after colouring her up the other day to promote Elisabeth Bell's Dollar Digi promotion (which has now ended)
I coloured Happy Mail Peeker in with tria markers. I punched a scalloped border at the base of the card and added white card stock behind it. I added the ribbon and die cut some elements to finish off the card and put happy Mail Peeker onto some yellow cardstock so that she popped off the card.
She really is adorable and you can get Happy Mail Peeker now from Elisabeth Bell's digi collection.
