I coloured Rory in with tria markers. I added kindyglitz to the paper and only added a few embellishments as I thought the paper was busy enough...
As I will not be working as much next year I am hoping to be a bit more creative in my card designs next year.. Fingers crossed..lol..
I hope that you can join us this fortnight at Southern Girls Challenge.

It's a Stick Up at Southern Girls Challenge!

Wow, I cannot believe I haven't posted a card for two months... Being on one design team has made me a little lazy in the crafting department... Next year hopefully I will have a little more time to make cards for fun as I will only be working three days a week.
Anyway, it is time for a new challenge at Southern Girls challenge and we would like to see sticky things on your creation.. as long as the back is sticky, it counts.
This fortnight we are sponsored by

2 Cute Ink Digital Stamps

I used a pre-coloured image and background from The Paper Shelter called Halloween Rules. It was a freebie this week. I made my own sticker using Jac paper which I put through my Brother Scan n Cut. Then I added glitter. I just added buttons to finish off the card.
I hope that you can join us this fortnight at Southern Girls Challenge.

Shake your groove thing or just make it wiggle a bit at Southern Girls challenge!

Time for a new challenge at Southern Girls challenge and this fortnight we are sponsored by

Ppinkydolls

.

Our challenge to you is to make a shaker card or a card with a movable object.
This was my first time making a shaker card and i am not sure I am overly happy with my first attempt but it's a start.

I used small princess by Ppinky Dolls. As always I only coloured the image minimally cos i just don't think my colouring would do it justice. I cut the crown out with my brother cut n scan and added the stars and  glitter (which I regretted after I added it). I added the rhinestones around the crown then I added rubons onto the black card stock.
I hope that you can join us this fortnight at SGC.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
* Little Red Wagon - Give us your background
* Jo's Scrap Shack - Always Anything Goes
* PolkaDoodles - Anything Goes
* Crafty sentiments Designs - Anything Goes
* Emerald City Crafts - Always Anything Goes

Add some stamping at Southern Girls Challenge!

Another month gone, another month closer to Christmas... Time is just flying by which brings us to a new challenge at Southern Girls challenge. This fortnight we would like you to "Add some Stamping" to your creations.
We are sponsored by

KC

I loved this challenge as I got to colour one of my many stamps that I have either never coloured up or haven't for a very long time.
So I decided to colour up my favourite Magnolia stamp Tilda with cute skirt. She is just adorable and I love colouring her up.I kept the card pretty simple. I created the background behind Tilda using distress inks, then I used a swirled background stamp which I embossed with embossing powder that I have not used for a very long time. With the scraps left over from the background I punched out some flowers, made the ledge Tilda is sitting on and added the sentiment. I then just added lots of rhinestones.
I hope that you will join us for this fab challenge at Southern Girls Challenge.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
* A Gem of a Challenge - Birthday Wishes
* Polkadoodles - Anything Goes
* Really Reasonable Ribbon - Anything Goes with Ribbon
* The Paper Shelter - Blooming Days
* Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge - Happy Birthday

Tic Tac Toe at Southern Girl's Challenge!

Before I get into the new challenge I just thought I'd let you know why things are so quiet on my blog.... As you may know I am part of a few design teams - The Digi Bell's, Craft Your Passion and Southern Girls Challenge. Well Craft Your Passion just never started back up after the Christmas break. Lisa who was running the blog just disappeared and never returned so i am hoping that she is ok and just decided life was too busy.. Then in the last month we decided that The Digi Bell's would take a break from designing while Elisabeth Bell spent some time creating. So I am only designing for The Southern Girls challenge which I only do once a month so posts at the moment are only that often. I would love to make more cards and get creative again but I have had a few health issues that I am still dealing with so hopefully in the not to distance future I will get creative again.

So now it is time to start our new challenge at Southern Girls challenge. Our theme is Tic Tac Toe

 We are sponsored by
Lacy Sunshine

I used the middle row of the bingo board - Dies, Image, Bling

I used Rory Life is Grand from Lacy Sunshine Stamps. I coloured Rory in with Tria markers and added a rhinestone to the flower on her hat. I used kaisercraft papers and used a border punch for the decorative edges. I then die cut some butterflies out, added the hearts and the rhinestones. I hope that you can join us for this fortnights challenge at Southern Girls Challenge.

Added the bling pearls and and the sparkly buttons. I finished off the card by spraying it with glitzy shimmer spray but it hasn't shown up in the photo....

Zoe Butterfly!

It is my turn to post over on The Digi Bell's blog and it is certainly long overdue. I must sincerely apologise.. I know this has become a regular occurrence but I truly just am just forgetful...
Anyway I am here and I absolutely love the card I just created. I am also going to use this as my Elisabeth Bell's World challenge card as the theme is "All about Butterflies".
I coloured Zoe Butterfly in with tria markers and die cut her out. I die cut out the balloons (which were a gift from Jennifer then all the other embellishments are from a Kaisercraft paper pad - save the date.
I hope that you can join us over at Elisabeth Bell's World challenge. We only have two entries so great chance of winning some fab digi's. Just remember to use an Elisabeth Bell image. Zoe was a freebie from signing up to Elisabeth Bell's creative e-book.

Elisabeth Bell's newest digi and Blog Hop with The Digi Bell's!

Can you believe it is time for another blog hop with The Digi Bell's sharing a gorgeous new Elisabeth Bell digi. Hopefully you have been to The Digi Bell's Blog for the lineup and made your way here from there. And while there you would have seen our gorgeous new digi

Dainty Dolly with Dandelion

Our challenge for this hop was to make something OTP so I decided to create a door sign.

I coloured this adorable image in with tria markers and chameleon pens (which I haven't got the hang of using yet). I used papers from a kaisercraft paper pad (happy snaps) to create the sign, inked the word adore and covered it in crystal effects, added some rhinestones to the butterfly and added the button to finish it off. That is it from me... If you would like this image now then head on over to Elisabeth Bell's digi collection or just continue on with the hop for your chance to win this adorable image. It's now time to head on over to Linda's blog.
Happy Hopping

KennyK Stamps FREEBIE blinkie

So i found the web background in my digi stash and added colour burst colours to it. I found the web ribbon in my ribbon stash then die cut the image out and the black square behind it.. I inked around the image then just added the button..

Digi Bell's Xmas Die Exchange.

Hello everyone... Still playing catch up so thought I would share my die exchange gift I received off my DT mate Jennifer Scull. She went above and beyond and really spoilt me with her beautiful card and very generous gift.
This is the beautiful card Jennifer made

This is the fabulous gift I received.
Look at all those fabulous dies and i didn't have any of them which is awesome. In fact I have been wanting a balloon die for ages so was so excited when I saw that die. And the stamp was a bonus as at the time I had issues with my printer so Jennifer was very thoughtful and sent the stamp so that I always have an Elisabeth Bell image on hand.
So thank you so much Jennifer for your generosity.
I absolutely loved my card and gift...

Your favourite image at Elisabeth Bell's World.

It is time for a new challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World and this month our challenge for you is to use your favourite Elisabeth Bell image... Well this was a super hard challenge for me because I have so many favourites. I chose to use Fashionably Cute  (which was a freebie when I signed up to Elisabeth Bell's creative e-boo because she can be used for a number of occasions and she is fun to colour.
I used tria markers to colour Fashionably Cute and decided to go with a white, blue and yellow theme. I punched out some hexagons to go with the backing paper (which does have hexagons on it but you can't really see them in this pic). I then just added a few embellishments.
I hope that you can join us this month at Elisabeth Bell's World. Remember you can use any Elisabeth Bell image whether it be a digi or a rubber stamp.

The Digi Bell's Blog hop and Elisabeth Bell's newest digi.!

Apologies for the broken link in the hop..

It is time for a blog hop featuring Elisabeth Bell's newest digi
 TUMMMY TIME
You should have arrived here from Anet's blog but if you are a little lost head back to the Digi Bell's Blog for the hop order.
I loved colouring this gorgeous image up... although i was experimenting with some new markers so colouring isn't my best.
I created this card using all my scraps and added minimal embellishments cos i wanted Tummy Time to shine.
That's it from me.... time to head on over to be wowed by Lynda's beautiful creation.
If you would love to purchase this gorgeous digi now she is available from Elisabeth Bell's digi collection right now.
Happy Hopping

Nature at Southern Girls challenge!

Wow, I need to apologise for not posting for ages... Not sure what happened there... I know one of my design teams is not currently running but I think I've just forgotten about the others... So apologies. So much for being on top of things this year.
Anyway, here I am for our new challenge at Southern Girls Challenge. Our theme this month is Nature and we are sponsored by

I created this card with Winnie Sugar Sprinkles design sheet from Polka doodles

I chose this set because I knew I would be short for time this month and as it was I made the wrong card so lucky I did have this set so I could quickly put it together. So everything was pre-coloured so it was just a matter of cutting everything out and putting it together.
I hope that you can join us this fortnight at Southern Girls Challenge.

Retro challenge - Buttons and/or Brads at Southern Girls Challenge!

Happy Australia Day. I am having a bit of a slack day hence why my post is late... found a great book to read so read half of it this morning.
Anyway, our new challenge at Southern Girls is Buttons and/or Brads (something I think we all have in our craft stash. I personally have an addiction to Buttons and flowers so this was an easy one for me..
We have two wonderful sponsors this challenge

Ppinkydolls

This was my second attempt at colouring this image, I originally coloured the hair but it looked rubbish so decided to leave it as is. I used twinkling H20's to colour the image (something I don't use very often) I created the paper with some digi papers I have in my digi stash, then I added all the embellishments.
It's a nice easy challenge so be sure to join us at Southern Girls challenge. be sure to pop over to he blog to see what the rest of the DT have created...
